I think they’re cheap and quick. Are they bad for you?

hmmm…I eat them alot unfortunately because I live by myself. But it can’t be too good for you because of all the preservatives…

They aren’t bad for you, just not very flavorful

They’re horrible for you. Usually loaded with trans fat and an unbelieveable amount of sodium. Kashi actually make a few and they are quite healthy maybe check those out.

“Gourmet” and “frozen” should never be used in the same sentence.

Their sodium levels are usually high but they are ok. You could try cooking 7 chicken breast on sunday night either different ways or just baked with salt and pepper. Then you could but them anything you make all week. Just add pasta and a chunky salad dressing for pasta salad. Cook some rice as well. slice it up and top a premixed bag of salad. the possibilties are endless. Think of it as making you own premade dinner. Buy some reusable containers to hold the different dishes.

They are cheap,I use to eat them every night because they were only 88 cents and I was low on money.now days though I make and cook myself a more healthy lunch/dinner.You are better off buying rice, chicken, veggies and such and cooking your own meals.Ground Turkey burgers and rice dishes are more healthy.Eating those dinners you will get more than your daily amount of salt and fat..I guess they wouldn’t be bad if you are young and healthy but it can lead you into an unhealthy lifestyle of eating.

Watch the sodium level, some of them are worse than others. It also depends on how big your appitite is. If you are like my husband you need to eat 2 to even feel full so it wouldn’t be cheaper!

Try “Lean Cuisine”, not only they are cheap, they are microwavable, delicious, low fat and low calories. You cannot get anything better than that. I’m a picky eater and I just love them.

    My suggestions:

    Glazed Chicken
    Chicken al’Orange
    Salisbury Steak
